After\u00a0menopause, however, women's uric acid levels approach those\u00a0of men. Men are also more likely to develop gout earlier \u2014\u00a0usually between the ages of 30 and 50 \u2014 whereas women\u00a0generally develop signs and symptoms after menopause.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Treatment of gout <\/strong><br \/>Treatment may be different for each person and will depend on the stage and severity of your\u00a0gout.
