Hospitals often grapple with the constant pressure to boost financial performance without a clear, long-term strategy for patient engagement and trust. Despite living in a data-driven era, many healthcare institutions rely on traditional decision-making approaches, leading to ad hoc decisions. Data analytics and metrics are not integral to their growth strategy.

Patients frequent hospitals for various reasons, ranging from routine health checks to complex procedures. Unfortunately, some leave unaware of potential health issues. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and expert systems can revolutionize patient care by collecting and analyzing data to provide personalized, timely interventions.

In a survey of 1068 patients, we discovered 182 diabetics and 265 hypertensives. However, the focus should shift to the 127 uncontrolled diabetics and 117 uncontrolled hypertensives, as they face imminent health risks despite medication. Identifying patients with comorbidities and immediate complications is crucial for early intervention and building trust.

Understanding family histories and identifying individuals at high risk of diseases allows for proactive healthcare. Hospitals need to prioritize data collection to implement ethical and effective business plans. Instead of generic marketing campaigns, a targeted approach aligns with data science, enhancing success probabilities and ROI.
