Do you suffer from excessive tiredness and lack even the basic energy to effectively perform your daily activities most of the time?? Then, chances are that you could be suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which is a medical condition that has become all too common among working professionals at present.

Did you know?? A community survey conducted among 3000 random Indian women aged 18-50 years revealed that chronic fatigue was highly common among them.  Though the exact reasons for CFS have not been properly diagnosed as of yet, some likely causes have been speculated. If you are suffering from this condition and want more information regarding this, then read on:

If viral fever is causing chronic weakness, it may lead to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Specific infections like Epstein-Barr virus, human herpes virus 6, Ross River virus have been linked to CFS. It's often a final stage of various medical conditions, not a unique one. Anxiety, depression, and other psychological disorders can contribute to chronic fatigue, as can stress damaging physical and mental health.

A weakened immune system, hormonal imbalances, genetic factors, obesity, sleep disorders, excessive alcohol intake, and certain medications can also lead to CFS. Serious ailments like anemia, cancer, kidney problems, COPD, diabetes, and their treatments may contribute. Overexertion, jet lag, sedentary lifestyles, faulty diet patterns, age, inflammation of the brain or central nervous system, low blood volume, adverse genetic reactions to exercise, and issues with hypothalamus, pituitary, or adrenal glands increase the risk.

While there's no definite cure for CFS, consult an expert for a tailored treatment plan. Make lifestyle changes: eliminate caffeine, quit smoking and drinking, avoid daytime naps, maintain a healthy sleep cycle, manage stress, relax, and allocate time for recreation. Seek counseling for mental disorders, adopt a specific exercise regimen, consider medications if prescribed, and explore alternative therapies like acupuncture, tai-chi, yoga, or physiotherapy.

Surround yourself with supportive people, and don't give up. Stay sincere in your efforts to recover from chronic fatigue, utilizing various initiatives for desired results.

Don't succumb to chronic fatigue! Take charge, rise, and make a move now!
